The campaign runs for 21 days, with a spawn deadline: after day 12 no new tadpoles can be spawned - the remaining time is for finishing the runs already swimming. The countdown on the site is always the truth.
You get 3 tadpoles for the whole campaign - three runs, one alive at a time. When one dies (or survives), you may spawn the next, as long as spawning is still open.
The rule that matters: only your single best run counts. A tadpole lost on day 2 costs you nothing if the next one thrives. An early death is a lesson, not a disaster.
Closed the tab mid-run? Your tadpole waits. Reload and you're back exactly where you left off.
Life happens one day at a time. Each game-day brings an event - a snake with a riddle, a tempting snack, a sudden current - and you pick one of the options. Every option shows two things up front:
Nothing in the pond is ever perfectly safe: even the most careful option carries a tiny 1% chance of catastrophe. That's pond life. After you choose, the outcome is revealed - tokens gained or lost, and whether your tadpole sees another day. Events never repeat within a run.
$POND is the campaign's score currency - points, not a token you buy, sell, or transfer. Your score is built from three layers:
Your score updates live as your current run progresses - if it's your best run so far, every good day moves you up the board in real time.
A run lasts up to 100 game-days. Reach day 100 and your tadpole survives the pond - earning a +250 $POND survival bonus on top of everything it collected. Survivors are rare, and it shows on the board.
If your tadpole dies, you'll see what got it, receive a share card to honor the fallen, and - with tries left and spawning open - the next tadpole awaits.
Once in a while, the pond blesses a spawn: a privileged tadpole. Pure luck - it can't be bought or chosen, and each player can be blessed at most once per campaign.
A privileged tadpole earns +20% $POND on everything - but the pond expects more from its chosen: every choice becomes a little more dangerous. Higher ceiling, thinner ice. Privileged runs carry a golden marker on the leaderboard.
Rarely, a day brings a jackpot event - an unusual opportunity with outsized rewards. They're infrequent by design; when one surfaces, read it carefully. And yes: privileged tadpoles and jackpots stack, for those the pond truly loves.
The race is a campaign, not a one-night sprint:
So a full 100-day survival takes at least 10 real days of check-ins. Plan around the deadline: runs still alive when the campaign ends stop where they are - the $POND counts, but the survival bonus belongs only to those who reached day 100 in time.
Every player gets a personal invite link (Referrals panel on the site).
The referrers' leaderboard is a separate race counting one thing: how many of your invitees qualified. Your $POND score doesn't matter there - pure invite race, Top 20 displayed.

The main board ranks everyone by score - 50 ranks per page, up to the Top 500, ties broken by who got there first. Your own row is always shown with your live rank, even when you're not on the visible page. Final standings are taken when the campaign ends.

To receive your whitelist spot, link the wallet address you'll mint with (there's a +25 $POND quest for it). You can link any time, even after the campaign ends - but no spot can be delivered without a wallet on file.
Double check the address: it can be set only once. One wallet per player, one player per wallet. Genuine typo? Contact the team in the official Discord, ready to prove you own the X account you played with.
The pond watches. All outcomes are decided on our servers - the website only displays them, so "editing the page" edits nothing. Beyond that:

Global milestones. Every 1,000th spin across all players is a milestone spin: whoever lands it wins +10 bonus spins, and a banner celebrates them to everyone online. A progress bar on the spin screen shows how close the pond is to the next one. Feeling lucky?
Secret rewards. Hidden free-spin bonuses fire automatically for certain deeds. No spoilers - that's the point - but the known categories are: lifetime spin counts (the pond has lucky numbers), heavy single-day spinning, referral milestones, gifting milestones, and sharing wins on X. When one fires, it appears in your Account History as a "Secret Reward".

The Ranks tab is a fresh competition every week - two boards, both resetting every Monday at 00:00 UTC. A new week is a clean shot at #1.
Only prizes the wheel itself lands on count toward Luck - pity bonuses, streak rewards, challenge claims and shard conversions are deliberately left out, so the board measures fortune, not spending.
Climbing the ranks pays nothing by itself... but the pond always keeps an eye on its most remarkable frogs.
Badges are permanent trophies for deeds - your first spin, hitting streaks, landing rare prizes, gifting, referring, exploring the site, and stranger things besides. There are 69 in total: 64 visible and 5 hidden (shown as ??? until you stumble into them). Once earned, a badge is yours forever - even if the condition later stops being true.
Why collect them? Because badge collections might be worth something when the main game launches.
Every result comes from a recipe with two ingredients: a server ingredient, committed before your spin, and a browser ingredient, made on your device. Blended through a one-way mathematical mixer (SHA-256, for the curious), they produce a number - and that number picks the prize from the odds in section 05. Because the server locks in its ingredient first, neither side can steer the outcome - not you, not us.
Both ingredients of every spin you've ever made are saved in your spin history. Paste them into the Verify tab any time and re-run the recipe yourself to confirm you got exactly what the math says.
One honest footnote: when a prize sells out, its slice of the wheel is shared among the prizes still in stock - so the same recipe can point to a different prize depending on the shelf at that moment. Verify knows this and flags any spin where redistribution applied. The math is always exact; it's the shelf that moves.
Beyond the math: results are decided and stored on our servers (editing the page edits nothing), actions are gently rate-limited to keep the game fast for everyone, and every prize, payment and bonus lands in your Account History where you can audit it.
